Cheriyal is an artform from Telangana which takes its name from the village where it was practiced.
This is a 6 days intensive workshop, 2 hours each where we explore the basics of the artform and study different elements involved such as male and female figures, dress codes, jewellery, trees, animals, borders and more. We also understand the techniques of composing an artwork.
One complete artwork is created at the end of the workshop. Working with state awardee artist from Hyderabad, Sh. Madhu Merugoju.
